Clicking the logo here or in the sidebar will take you to Odd Shots details. I am becoming more confident in Mr. Linky, though he still disappears for me from time to time. Do leave a link and a comment both if you have participated.
That is so fascinating! I love the frost that formed on the rims! Great eye you have to catch this. Sure made me smile too.
I'm so glad you decided to use Mr. Linky. I hope he hasn't been much trouble. My Odd Shot is up too (Drinks are on the house) and I registered, but I'm just making sure! :D
LOL I was looking for the odd shot in the cupcakes at first because Becky is always finding faces in food. . . Great catch to find that toothless grin in the rim of the table!
Now that I look at it again maybe it's not a table -- so WHAT IS IT? I see the "missing tooth" but what is it really? What would cupcakes be on. . . they can't be in the snow. sigh
PERBS, there are no cupcakes. This looks through the holes in the steps in one of the playground pieces. It looks down to the bark chips below, which, I suppose, look a bit like the frosting on a German Chocolate cake with coconut and nuts in it. Not nearly as appetizing.
That should answer Babooska's question, too. I've posted other pictures of this playgound before, here and at Yakima Valley Daily Photo--there are several over there the last week or so of December in the snow.
Liz, I had to ponder where you might have seen maggots in this. I suppose it is the frost crystals that stick out from the edges of the holes.
I don't care what you say . . . it still looks like cupcakes to me and a toothless smile. Ü
Great frost photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you should enter it in a contest. That frost definitelylooks like fluted cupcake holders. lol I jsut couldn't figure out the smile -- except for the toothless grin. lol You got me good.

We could do with some of that frost!
It's 18 degrees...I know that David would love it right now, but I could do with a bit of warm...soon now...soon!
Sandi
What a happy, frosty face. Our weather would wipe that smile right off his face.

That's really spooky. I had no idea what these could be. Odd and mysterious.

Always nice to see a smiling face and ol' frosty, the playground face, is no exception.
Fun, Katney!
Looks so cold!
