Odd Shots Monday--I always ask for a Window Seat

Odd Shots is hosted here. To participate, post your Odd Shot and leave a comment on this post to let us know you have played. I update the Odd Shots blogroll fairly regularly, adding new players weekly and less often removing those who don't continue. There is a link to the "rules" in the sidebar.

Sometimes I just get the wrong window.

That is Mt. Adams which we were passing on our return from Califonia. You may have seen other views of it in earlier posts here and here among others.
~
When we passed Mt. Rainier, I only got a view of the head.

I have seen a head like that before...usually in front of me at the theatre! That's the only trouble with being a shorty! LOL! Great idea for Monday...mine too is up!

It almost looks like a cloud from up there. Come visit and see my odd shot.

Like you I always ask for a window seat - & hate it when asked to pull down the blind.
A fun odd shot!
Mines up.

Have a good week

Nice photo peek of Adams there, Katney! When it comes to aerial photography, I seem to be sideways lately and either can't get a window seat or run out of battery power or memory, etc. or when I do get all my ducks lined up - the weather goes south.
I just posted too.

It is like forever chosing the wrong checkout at the supermarket.

Pretty impressive view there. Over the last few years my fear of flying seems to have increased, although maybe it's starting to alleviate to where I just don't like takeoff and landing. When I flew to Nassau earlier this year I was certainly glued to the view as we flew off the coast of Florida.

Anyhow, my nasty blue food post is up as well...

That's a beautiful shot! I've never flown, so I love seeing other people's shots from planes.

Mine's up at Prairie Visions - have a great week!!

It's like you can see the whole world from an airplane window. The view can be so amazing.

I have done this myself. Annoying isn't it.

That's the sort of view I get! We're twins!!!

Definitely an odd shot because the ones we would LIKE are the ones without heads in the way. Mine's up - later than usual for me, but up!

Ain't it the truth! This always happens to me on a plane... or they'll just shut the screen all together. Love your caption :)

Hope you had a terrific time & got to climb St. Helens... it's a fun place to explore, we always enjoy it.

Cracking Odd Shot....Like the silhouette.I always try and get a window seat but never take any photos as I always thought that using a camera when the plane was in the air was one of those no-no's like using computers.

I always ask for a window as well!

Better than nothing - at least you "got" the mountain

I like that very much. The silhouette, looking laid back, makes it all the more interesting.

I thought the head you were talking about is the head of the person in photo =)

To me looks like a cloud.

Its seldom that you get a clear view if you are not on the very side of the window.

Cool shot of Mt. Adams from a unique perspective. There's nothing like the view from above the clouds ~ heavenly!

"Louis" is buried past his cowbell in a work project for the next several weeks. He'll stop and look at your posts, but may not stay to sign your 'guest registry'.

ThanX for the Klingon info, Katney. We didn't know the language originated at WSU! Yet another reason to love quirky WA. ;-)
