Out walking the other night

Find other Sky Watcher posts from blogs all over the world here.

With daylight savings time here already, it is possible to get out and get an evening walk in. Evening walks open the opportunities for great sunsets.
Evening walks provide a great chance for training for the Breast Cancer 3-Day. The more walks before the event, building up to longer and longer distances, the better prepared for walking 60 miles in three days.

You have to figure out when the light is going to fade, though, to be in time get safely back home.

What kind of views
could you enjoy
if you were
training for the
Breast Cancer 3-Day!?!

It wouldn't matter -- just as long as it isn't raining and I had my camera with me.

I enjoyed that last picture with its interesting cloud composition.

No summer time (as we call it here) as yet, so no late evening walks with sunset.

Oh they are fabulous! As you know I love a sunset. I would watch the sun set all day and all night except it is a physical, scientific and realistic impossibility. But I would.
