I sought a definition at Dictionary.com , expecting it to suggest that vehicles or people would be conveyed by a bridge across water or some other gap. I had to scroll pretty far down the page to find this one that actually did:
- noun
1. a structure that allows people or vehicles to cross an obstacle such as a river or canal or railway etc.

The dictionary needs to add "or vice versa" to its definition. I posted some pictures of a place where the boats crossed the river on a bridge in days long past day 216 and day 217. I have seen pitures of sailboats quietly crossing the road in Europe. Intersting Bridges theme.
Well well, mine has the same title!!
Everything else is very different though.
The dictionary would probably call this an Aqueduct and a bridge a Viaduct, but to me it is a bridge as good as any.
PS Temporary visiting family and not much blogging at the moment.
For once, my "bridge" was going to feature a real water bridge but alas, it was not to be. I couldn't get it to post.
I like it when people post unique "bridges" for this meme. Good job!
Me again: Thank you very much for your comment on my Bridge-post. You have mentioned many of the reasons I have for closing down my meme, but then you know the business!
I haven't used Mr. Linky since it has not been stable and since it prevents auto-posting. This is the reason why I haven't been able to participate in several memes lately - including Odd Shot.
I may have been a bit imprecise in my post, but I have now been visiting family elsewhere and am at the moment at home before going into hospital in Oslo from Sunday until Tuesday/Wednesday. So it will have to be another Monday without an Odd Shot from me.
