I have been asked to be a Breast Cancer 3-Day Online Ambassador, and I have taken up the challenge. Between now and when I do my walk in November, I will be posting from time to time about the 3-Day, about breast health, about fund-raising and training for the event. Well, if you've read my blog before (and after) the last two 3-Day Walks I participated in, then you will know that I would have done that anyway.
This year I will be walking in Arizona in November--60 miles in memory of my mother, my sister and my aunt, and in memory or recognition of all those others who have been touched by breast cancer. Before I walk, I must raise $2300. Well, I'm $20 down and only $2280 to go! You can follow my fundraising progress or donate here.
Training? This year I plan to be the fittest of ever. I have already teamed up with someone locally to walk with, and hubby and I are doing water aerobics four days a week. Once the weather improves and it is light later in the evening, we will step this program up. Since she is walking in Seattle two months before my walk, we will ultimately have different training schedule needs, but an early start will do us both good.

Good for you!
Good for you!
I am so glad you are doing this. I look forward to seeing other posts about Breast Cancer Awareness. I can't wait until we can get out and "really" walk again. More snow here today!!
