Sunday's Psalm--Second Sunday of Advent

R. Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation.

I will hear what god proclaims;
the LORD--for he proclaims peace to his people.
Near indeed is salvation to those who fear him,
glory dwelling in our land.
Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation.

Kindness and truth shall meet;
justice and peace shall kiss.
Truth shall spring out of the earth,
and justice shall look down from heaven.
Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation.

The LORD himself will give his benefits;
our land shall yield its increase.
Justice shall walk before him,
and prepare the way of his steps.
Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation.

Beautiful shots Katney. Sorry I'm not around so much, but I do love these posts. A coincidence (?) this week - Annie's Blog has posted Psalm 85 as well. She does a regular Sunday Psalm too.

Very peaceful, with great illustration.

Beautiful.

I was reminded of the last line of one of my favourite hymns, Here is Love. 'And God's peace and perfect justice kissed a guilty world in love.'

The snow tracks were my favorite but the apple and the squirrel were close runner-ups!

The photography you blend with these Psalms for Advent work beautifully. It is nice to get more spiritual inspiration on Monday!
