Sunday's Psalm--25th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The Lord is near to all who call upon him.

Every day will I bless you,
and I will praise your name forever and ever.

Great is the LORD and highly to be praised;
his greatness is unsearchable.

The Lord is near to all who call upon him.

The LORD is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and of great kindness.

The LORD is good to all
and compassionate toward all his works.

The Lord is near to all who call upon him.

The LORD is just in all his ways
and holy in all his works.

The LORD is near to all who call upon him,
to all who call upon him in truth.

The Lord is near to all who call upon him.

Psalm 145: 2-3, 8-9, 17-18

Very true words. Great illustration - I love the lake one with mountains around.

I have a Psalm posted today too on Cath's Cradle.

"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him." The photo you used with that verse is absolutely perfect. . . that solitary tree in between two huge mountains of rock . . . and it knows God is there for it because it was a part of His creation plan.

I rally like how you illustrate Psalms with your photos!

Welcome home! I hope you will soon tell us all about your walk and your hostess duties at the lodge helping others who visit.

As much as "Louis" enjoys participating in "Odd Shots," your Sunday Psalm is his favorite. Thank you for starting and continuing this series.

I love this verse in Psalms. The pictures match it very well. I am curious where the lake is. It almost looks like a place in Canada.
