3 Days of skies

I thought I would post some of the skies from my 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk September 12-14 in Seattle.

The strange structure in the first and second is a rock climbing practice structure at Marymoor Park where our encampment was. The geese in the second shot, or some of their cousins, were visitors every day. Our morning departure took us past this building, whose windows reflected Mt. Rainier against the morning sky. Now you know you are in Seattle in the last two, as we ate lunch with the Space Needle as the backdrop, and celebrated the conclusion of our walk beneath its towering presence. Tourists I met later in the week had seen the closing ceremonies from the observation deck.

Skywatch details and linky are here.

Nice indeed, and for a very good cause. (I still remember the chocolate cake I ate at the top of t"t\The Needle").

Re your comment: Maybe because P.G.Wodehouse has always been one of my favourite authors?

That first one is awesome. A pink (almost) sky for a pink cause. Great shots all of them. But I love that first one. It could be on another planet.

I wish I had taken photos when I did the Portland marathon. My friend who started with me but I never saw again until I finished said I shouldn't as it wastes time. I had my camera with me and I should have just done what I wanted as I wasn't in a race -- I just wanted to finish.

I guess you had a great walk as I haven't ehard anything about being sore or tired. . .

First of all, I want to thank you for doing that walk. It is a great thing you did and I would shake your hand and give you a big hug if you were standing right next to me. Secondly, these are wonderful, wonderful photos. I love Seattle, only been there once several years ago but I hope to go back one day. I enjoy your blog very much.
