Sky Watch Friday

Okay, I give in. I have to join:
at least this once. It is a growing phenomenon.
To see what it is all about visit Wigger's World where it is hosted.

My sky photo for today.

It is difficult to escape the modern world.

Just peeked through. People in the sky flying by. What a neat shot.

I think this is the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.

I really admire your photography choices and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.

And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

And so much noise. Hyde actually caught one less trail.

Beautiful blue and green - the jet trails add a bit of drama. This is what I tell myself when I see them in the sky. Hmm.... ; )

Thanks for a lovely photo!

Welcome to SWF. That is a neat shot with the con trail giving it meaning.

And what escapes the modern world follows us...

PS Yes, the bird was painted on the glass. If you have a format in the camera that is not JPEG or TIFF, it is most probably some version of RAW. There will the be software accompanying the camera that will handle it, or try Photoshop - it has a conversion program.

Great catch for SWF! God and Nature first made us what we are, and then out of our own created genius we make ourselves what we want to be. Follow always that great law. Let the sky and God be our limit and Eternity our measurement.... Happy weekend! Mine's up too hope you can drop by.... here

Very pretty sky shot. I love the vapor trail from the plane.

White lines on a blue sky - lovely! Those trails will turn into pretty clouds later.

I somehow like seeing the jetstreams sometimes. It makes me feel safe.

Isn't it just?

Lovely shot - the contrast between the blue and green is stark. Thanks for visiting mine. Looks like we both gave up resisting now... Glad you did. :0)

A wonderful blue sky!You had camera in hand just at the right time!
I don't mind the modern world you show because it is a fast means of transportation to places otherwise
we could not see. Happy 4th of July!

I remember seeing this one -- wonder what happened to my comment? Oh well, I like how you captured the trails between the trees.
