Dot at Strolling through Georgia wondered about water towers in different areas. We have three in the small town I live near, and this is one of them. The other two are smaller.
This is the view of the tower from our front yard. The city logo is painted on the other side, facing the freeway.Oh, BTW, did you notice the mountain? Do you think I could post any picture that did not have a mountain connection? That is our view of Mt. Adams, which is clearly visible this morning. Mt. Rainier, which is also visible from our yard when it is clear, is hiding in its own weather.

Yes the mountain is beautiful and love that water tower but is that a grape orchard?? I clicked on the picture but couldn't tell. It sure is laid out nice and neat.
We have scuppernines (a type of grape grown in the south) here and there in curved rows. My husband just got through pruning them. We eat them like grapes but the skin is tough so spit that out. Sounds gross. People buy them for jelly making and maybe wine also.
that is one awesome mountain in the background.....what great scenery you have.
I was wondering which mountain it was -- thought surely not St Helens. I knew it wasn't Mt. Hood! Ü
Those look like raspberry vines to me. . .
Beautiful views and to capture the water tower too. Good shot.
