We'll be SkyWatching at the Airport this week.

This shot was taken when we landed at SeaTac Airport in Seattle last year, but if the weather is the same, it will be very much like one I will take Saturday morning when we take off. Notice something in the distance? It is hard to get away from Mt. Rainier no matter where you are in the state. Sure, there are a lot of places where you can't see it--and there are times when you can't see it. But it dominates the landscape in many places.

We are headed off to Alaska. Hopefully, I will have new skies to offer when we return. There will be special prescheduled offerings till we get back, so be sure to stop by next week, even though I will not likely get to sign the Linky at the SkyWatch site, where you will find hundreds of other skies from around the world today and then.

I knew somehow you would get the mountain in from there too. lol Good thing I saw it this summer or I would not believe it could be so beautiful as your photo. . . after it hiding from me previously. Have a safe journey and come back with lots of great photos to share.

I'll bet you that tomorrow's sky will be a lot more wet than that pic. Have a good trip.

Even up to the north of Seattle, Rainier can dominate the landscape. Have fun in Alaska!
