These first two photos were taken just forty-eight hours ago, give or take two minutes.

Looking out the window from the kitchen, my husband told me I should go out and see the sunset. The kitchen window looks east. By the time I grabbed the camera and got out the door, this is what I saw looking east over the neighbor's roof.
And two minutes later, it had faded to this.
Looking southwest, where the sun was actually going down, the glorious color lasted a bit longer and spread farther.
Twenty four hours later, the shades had just a bit less pink and a bit more yellow to them.
What am I seeing outside as this posts?

Awesome Skies. today's winner for sure! Aloha-
That's a stunning range of colours. And yes, you should see how quickly skies change colour here in Australia.
Wow. Lucky you to see such beautiful skies. I love the cloud formations, too. Quite stunning indeed! Happy SWF!
Dramatic skies. Hello from California.
We do have beautiful skies in our cold, snowy, icy, slushy, rainy, flooding state don't we? I hope your weather is okay. We didn't have a quick thaw though so we are doing okay. Only one late start day... nothing like Spokane.
It makes a fantastic different. Nice pictures.
911 . . . yes, I want to report a fire. . . address? . . . the sky by Kathy's home!
Just gorgeous!
No sunsets visible here -- too many clouds.
Beautiful! And sometimes the best view of a sunset is to the east. We've seen the news coverage of the Seattle area flooding. I hope the Yakima is behaving itself.
in the trhird and fifth pictures, there are posts sticking up, what are they growing there, will it be grapes or apples.
I posted some pics of new posts in the ground next to my house here in Oliver for grapes to be planted
The snow has started to melt at last around here
Very beautiful ! I also noticed that I can assist to beautiful sunsets here from my window I had never payed attention to it before Skywatch !
The sky sure changes quickly. Tonight i hotographed a sunset that was an allrouder too.
Great shots, espacially that flaming red one.
You certainly captured these well - my friend.
