Mt. Rainier sunset skies

The bird in this sunset shot was an added bonus and continued to fly toward the south into the Mt. Adams sunset that I have posted at Yakima Valley Daily Photo. Despite the fact that the two photos were take within a minute of each other, the colors in the sky just a few degrees apart are totally different. You can click the photos in both blogs to enlarge, and you can click to find other beautiful skies from around the world at the Skywatch site.

Both showed up nice - but the bird did the difference!

Beautiful! I thought it was an airplane --even when I enlarged it.

Nice. Was it a hawk? Looks like it might have been.

I looked at the other photo and there certainly is a huge color difference. Both are beautiful. Love the bird. He's a big one. An eagle, maybe?

I agree, both photos are beautiful; but I like the vibrancy of this one.

Georgous shots..can't decide which I like best. The shot I caught you asked me about on my blog was taken up by Deception Pass at a camp right next to the state park. Happy Shooting Friend!
