While I admire the beauty of the Victoria Memorial, it is the monument to Hodge that most caught my fancy. I had to google to find out more.

I knew of the monument to Samuel Johnson's cat, but I didn't remember the cat's name.
I must tell my husband about it, because we plan to "do London" one of these days.

I've never seen Hodge before. How lovely and British to have a statue of a cat.
