ABC Wednesday--M
Many marvelous monuments mark the metropolitan London scene.

While I admire the beauty of the Victoria Memorial, it is the monument to Hodge that most caught my fancy. I had to google to find out more.
A VERY interesting topic for M day! And some great shots, too!
I knew of the monument to Samuel Johnson's cat, but I didn't remember the cat's name.
I must tell my husband about it, because we plan to "do London" one of these days.

Wonderful! I've never heard of the memorial for women!
I've never seen Hodge before. How lovely and British to have a statue of a cat.
