The delicate blossoms of Elegant Jacob's Ladder were plentiful as we hiked the Sunrise Rim Trail last month. I think the name comes from the look of the leaves.

Oh - polemonium!! Yes, Mum calls it Jacob's Ladder, too! We had some once, with blue flowers. I don't know what happened to it .. it just disappeared.
