Odd Shots Monday--looking through the peacock

You can play Odd Shots, too.
Just post a photo that seems odd to you for some reason--odd angle, odd circumstance, odd experience, or just seemed odd at the time. Comment here on this post to let us know you have played this week. I add new players to the Odd Shots blogroll in my sidebar, (but I am slow to remove those who haven't posted for a while.) Clicking the Odd Shots Camera in the sidebar will take you to the post with all the details.

We visited the Maryhill Museum of Art a couple of weeks ago. It is located on an isolated bluff overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. Since peacocks roam the grounds of the museum, these lacy sheer curtains seem appropriate for the windows of one wing.
That does not seem odd to you? But remember--I did say that peacocks roam the grounds. Look more closely--right in the center. Maybe you will need to click the photo to enlarge. Do you see him out by the light post? Should I have entitled this post "two Peacocks"?
If you would like to see more of the museum, visit my posts from last week at Yakima Valley Daily Photo and you will have a longer tour.
If you would like to see more Odd Shots, check those on the Odd Shots blogroll or visit those who comment here.

That's a really fun shot! I love the curtain, but the extra peacock is perfect!

Maybe you should call it "Nature imitates art?".

Mine is up here.

What a great catch! I wonder if he was admiring his "reflection" in the window? Your powers of observation are keen.

That's neat. Virtually a Monochrome also.

An unusual, creative shot! The real peacock makes a great extra pattern on the curtain! Very observant!

Regarding yours, I bet the peacock outside is wondering HOW did the other peacock manage to go inside the museum!!! Loved it!!!!

that is great! I like how you noticed the "second" peacock to begin with. Also I wonder where the museum ever found those curtains?

Just dropped by for a visit -- I'm not participating any longer. . . I liked your photo but even enlarging it, don't see another peacock and don't understand what is odd about it either. Guess I am getting old. Ü

Oops! ThanX to R&J's gentle comment, I just reviewed the rules. It seems I have indeed made an Odd Shot fauX pas. Rule #4 states, in part: "...it can be edited by cropping or correcting the brightness, but no fancy stuff, please."

My apologies, Katney (and all), for coloring outside the lines.

Don't sweat it! I even forgot. But it is the spirit of the thing that the shot is odd in itself for some reason, not because we made it so.

Oh yes! I see him! After enlarging I realise that I was looking at him all along...

Katney, I do believe you are obsessed with peacocks!

Me again - stupid of me not to tell you: just a bunch of hall-wilted straws with a potential interesting illumination. But too much wind...

I posted one that will be up in just a bit!
