Our Headbanger theme this week is Orange, and I couldn't resist.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At our quilt retreat this past weekend, after I had completed my must do projects and did not want to do anything requiring a lot of concentration, I opened my fabric bin and found a bag of orange fabrics--charms, scraps, and squares mostly. Hmm. A baby quilt is always something to have on hand, and a pattern that did not involve a lot of intricate piecing was just perfect for the few hours left in the day. And it made for something orange for the headbangers.
Certainly a bright colour. Don't know whether there is enough there to make a duvet cover, but it would make for a happy bedroom
I bet Julie would give you the gold for this segment of Orange.
Very neat.
I thought it was amazing that you pulled together your resources and actually created an item just to take a snap for your header challenge. I call that dedication, very impressed Kathy, and a beautiful quilt it is to.
Nicely done Kathy, always take advantage of where you are. Great use of the orange pieces.
How wonderful that you can make something so lovely out of scraps.
