We may have to agree to disagree, but please respect my position.

I know that some will disagree with me. I know this because I have already seen it in my Facebook and Google + streams.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure has made the decision to no longer fund breast screening services performed at Planned Parenthood clinics.

If you know me or have followed me for any length of time, you know that I have proudly walked in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day walk four different times in three different cities. My decision not to walk last year, besides being busy with supporting my husband in his battle with Multiple Myeloma, was also because I had become more aware of, and more uncomfortable with even the limited percentage of my fundraising that went to Planned Parenthood. Despite the designated purpose of these funds, the association with the organization's other activities is not something I can let myself be a part of.

If Susan G. Komen for the Cure maintains this policy and does not back down due to pressure from liberal pro-abortion forces to restore this funding, I will proudly walk again.

I guess each and every one has their own idea on this Kathy, but lets face it - you and your family come 1st in all things, if it helps at all I agree with you.

That is a sad day that you have to make this type of decision. But I agree with you, you have to go with your heart.

«Louis» supports you wholeheartedly in your decision. He is very disturbed that the lunatic left has shouted Komen down and Komen has backed off their decision to stop funding Planned Parenthood.
