Revisiting ABC--H

  There--in the distance--
Mt. St. Helens
This H dropped in on us on May 18, 1980--a Sunday morning.

We dropped in on her while camping with the kids in 2009.

Beautiful photos.
I remember the eruption, I could hear it from my home in White Rock, BC, near the US border.
Probably because of the offshore winds, we didn't get any of the ash fallout in the southwestern corner of BC, but out here in Alberta they got it, I've been told.

WoW! Stunning. Love the splash of purple (my favorite color) against all the gray.

Beautiful capture of those flowers with the volcano behind them. . . I was in southeast Idaho at the time and we got ash that far away also.

I'm sure it's more pleasant to drop in on St. Helen than to have her drop in on you!
Lovely picture of the mountain.
