O is for OLD.
When we saw these signs in Edinburgh, it gave us a smile. We are exercising regularly to hopefully avoid being that bent when we are old. Hey wait, depending on your perspective, we ARE already old.
O is for OLDER.
The cathedral at Lincoln is considerably older than we are--well--by several hundred years, though the current amazing structure is not as old as its beginnings shortly after the Norman Invasion.
I have to think really hard about what we have in North America that is that old.
O is for OLDEST. This is the probably the oldest thing we saw while we were in the UK. This is one of the small gateways on Hadrian's Wall, built across the north of England in 122 AD.

Everything's relative - now I feel younger! A delightful post - hoping if I must cross the road it will be with the aid of the enchanting sign!
You framed the arches of the cathedral beautifully! The builders of centuries old buildings and bridges in Eurpoe were mazing. True, we don't have many man-made buildings older than 300 years still in use. The Indians of the southwest did build some cave and adobe buildings that have survived.
Such marvellous photos! So funny to see the sign - I just saw one in Salisbury England last week & didn't have my camera with me. Beautifully photographed cathedral, and I so enjoy the view of Hadrian's wall (which I've yet to see, but hope to someday).
I'M feeling bent already ;-)
