Headbangers--My theme--It's a Small World!

When I sent this theme along to the headbangers I had just been hiking in Idaho when we had come across this anthill. The boys were fascinated by it. When we got the picture up on the computer screen, we could see that it was the ant nursery. The ants were very busy moving the babies around. Click on the picture to enlarge and see them even more closely.
Then I got home and thought about other tiny worlds I had photographed and went looking for some of them.
The tiniest of mushrooms.

 Moss spores
 Emerging Fiddlehead Ferns
 Lunch
And settled on the attack of the aphids.
But in the end I realized that no matter how many small worlds I find,
we are small in a very large world.
Take a look at the other headbangers and see what they have made of this small world. You will find their links in my sidebar.

Kathy: Fun captures for certain. Love the aphids on the rose, only as a picture of course.
