T is for.... for ABC Wednesday

T is for towers.
These are the intake towers of the generators of Hoover Dam.

Two are in Arizona and two are in Nevada.

These are transmission towers for electricity generated there.

Two of many kinds of towers.

Other Ts from ABC Wednesday Round 5 can be found here.
Some other views from Hoover Dam will be at 365 No Themes No Memes.

Wow! I visited Hoover Dam nearly 2 years ago. It looks like the construction has progressed since then. Wonderful photos!

Impressive - and some thought has been given to the architecture too.

All those powerlines and towers, it reminds me of our years at the gorge power plant. That was a MUCH smaller operation, though. It's been years since we visited Hoover Dam.

I've always thought this scene looks like something from the distant future. Excellent shots!

Nice shots. I have visited Hoover Dam but it was years ago.

Those dam Towers are impressive, and quite attractive.
I'm staggered by the way the pylons cluster on the rocks like that - looks like each one is trying to climb a bit higher than the others!

Thanks for visiting mine :)
