
Conversations around us at lunch consisted of whether your power was on or off overnight. Several schools were closed for lack of power.
A friend's kid Nigel took a shower last night with the last of the warm water in their tank. He got out with his flashlight and reached for the hair dryer.
We are creatures of habit.

Friends' teenager. They had no power. We did not lose power--jsut heard all the stories.
But it was cold?
I love the way we still marvel at the weather. So nice, really. Keeps life in perspective.
We've had frost so thick on cars, I thought it was snow! Icy sidewalks today on my adventures walking.
