PhotoHunt--theme: Pink

This year, beginning in just three weeks in Boston, and following in 14 other cities, thousands will rise early one Friday morning...
...donning pink shoes or pink hats or pink shirts or no pink at all...
...men and women alike...

...encouraged by volunteers--some in silly pink costumes...
...sleeping two nights in pink tents...
...to walk for three days--60 miles--and to raise millions of dollars to reach a goal.

The goal is the end of Breast Cancer.
I will walk again in memory of my mother and my sister--this year in Arizona.
.
Today's PhotoHunt theme is pink. Find other PhotoHunters seeking pink at TnChick.

Good luck. In high school, I wrote my term paper on a cure for cancer. I thought it was going to happen back then . Instead, they just keep fining new kinds of cancer. (My twin died from it way too young.) Over 40 years later, too many are still dying from this cruel monster. You would think that would make me want to support the search for a cure but instead, it turns me off.

I am proud of you for what you are doing tho. I just don't want to be a part of it. Except I will pray for a safe journey for you.

Katney, I have lost your e-mail (if I ever had it - ha!) Anyhow, I loved your post for the 4th! Also just caught up with your comments for Amazing Grace Plaque that my husband made. It is 6"
X 9". It is 3 dimentional with all the letters and stanzas glued to the wood backing when finished. Thanks for you positive comment. He also did one of the Beatles, Imagine. Kerrie
