The assignment was to make a picture that illustrated a good rule for taking care of your library book. Among the pictures illustrating keep the book away from the dog and make sure your hands are clean was this one:
I took this photo at a Scottish Heritage festival in Spokane, Washington a couple of years ago. I ran across it this week while looking for some other pictures. I thought that this rather original kilt displayed a mixed heritage--or maybe a Pacific Islander Scottish wannabe?

Now that to me just plain look like a skirt, not to mention it doesn't match. Wow, look at me, who appointed me fashion patrol. Very original pictures. I love the rollercoaster book ride one.
LOL--The traditional pleats of a tartan kilt just don't hold in the Hawaiian fabric, so yes, it does rather look like a skirt.
Great photo hunt you got here... Seems that the man is wearing a ladies wear... Cool!... Mine is up too here..

Love the first picture, very original (and cute!). The second one is original too, in such a special way, lol!
That skirt is something else!
Love the rollercoaster picture, too funny!
Being Scottish, I can appreciate the second one. I want one. Very funny. I can think of lots of other places not to take library books. Oh and by the way where are those lost ones.
Hmm...what a color combination. It does not blend well for him. Haha....cute shots. Happy weekend!
LOL--I love that second shot--VERY original!!
Where are the lost or missing library books?
They are:
*on the counter at home
*in Dad's (Mom's) car
*in my desk upstairs
*"but I turned them in already!"
*"I gave them to *"
*under the bed
*at Grandma's house in Mexico (really happened)
*in my grandpa's RV which has been put in storage for the winter (really happened)
*"I cleaned out the bookshelf and sent a bunch of stuff to St. Vinnie's---oh-oh."
*"But really, the dog didn't get near my backpack after he got skunked!" (really happened)
*"You were right. Dogs don't like dog training books." (really happened)
"Someone stole my backpack." (really happened---why do I keep saying really happened? Every one of these is something that really happened.)
*"Book? What book?"
That's great advice for looking after books! happy weekend :-)
The drawing reminds me of the BOOK "OFFICER BUCKLE AND GLORIA!"

Your FL furiends,
On a guy, I'd say that's a terrible looking skirt! Ha ha
Great pics - I think the guy in the second one may have stolen his wife's skirt, LOL. Have a good weekend!
Whenever I take my library books to Silverwood, I always have one of the kids hold my library books before I get on the roller coaster, but the reminder is a good one. You know, just in case....
That kilt is way too cool! I think that picture is the best one I've seen for the "original" theme so far!
Whoa, nice outfit. Cannot say it does it for me. :)
You original themes are very matching to the topic and very unique. I enjoy my visit with light hearted laugh. A great post for photo hunter.
