That's my favorite Twofer out of all the ones I've seen to date. I mean, I've only just recently started noticing people do it, but I really like the juxtaposition between the old and new. Very cool.
I love the shots of the chickens! My grandmother's cousin and I were close, and she lived on the family farm in Ohio. She kept chickens, and when I visited, it was my job to feed them and gather the eggs! I appreciate your jogging those memories for me!

Nice to see some-one else posting old photos.

Clever ... why did you cut off Grandma's head?
:-Daryl
I didn't cut off Grandma's head, Daryl, my Dad did.
My sister used to cut off heads in photos all the time. She was short and could not take pictures of tall people.
Some things just don't change eh? It's great you have photos from so long ago. What treasures. A lovely double.
Great shots. I absolutely love old photos. Then, to "update" was great! Thanks for playing!

I do think this is fun! It's so nice to have comparisons like this. (OK, I'm running very late this week!)
