The River Witham runs through Lincoln--down at the bottom of Steep Hill. The distance picture of the cathedral was taken from a bridge near here.
This sculpture Empowerment was installed in 2002. It was designed by the artist Stephen Broadbent, and spans the river near the shopping district.
