Follower--or leader?
Crow or raven?
This guy met me in the parking lot. If I had thought about it at the time, I would have decided if he was a crow or a raven. A raven, I think, but a small one. I was at the Grove of the Patriarchs for a short hike while traveling to the coast.
When I drove off, he followed me.
Or led me.
He swooped in front of the car, over the car, behind the car.
I have a stalker.

Hi Katney, sorry I can't hellp you with this one. We have three crow species and one raven and I have just managed to get it into my mind how to identify the raven. Though I have not quite figured out what makes one a crow and the other a raven, they look so alike. It is like geraniums and pelagoniums.........don't get me started.
Great shot of your crow/ raven. Have a great weekend
Beautifully captured. That place sounds familiar. have I been there? lol
For me, follower !!!
Bellissimo corvo !
The ravens are quite a big larger than the crows. I'm pretty sure this guy was a raven--too big for a crow. They are definitely cousins.
Yes, Paulie, last summer we stopped there on the way to the second campground. Remember the suspension bridge?
Reminds me of the movie "How to make an American Quilt"
WE had a crow this morning who STOLE a baby Blue Jay! He managed to live after being dropped in the road! I never knew crows would take live fledglings! Kerrie
