...and early, at that. Well, since it is here, I will leave it. Unpublishing is so complicated.
For those who favor Mr. Linky, my apologies. Mr. Linky has forbidden me from accessing his site. I presume it is a general snafu that is happening to others. If it is not, is it something I said? I honestly apologize, Mr. Linky. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
.
In the meantime, If you want to play Odd Shots this week, just leave a comment on this post so others can find you. (If you have multiple blogs, please direct us to the right one. It really is exasperating to come to a profile and find a dozen blogs listed and not know where to go to see your Odd Shot.) Beyond that, the Odd Shot details are linked in my sidebar.
.
And now, your feature presentation:
If you want some fun shots, just go climb around on the playground sometime. Snow is optional, but adds a special touch, don't you think? Our snow is gone though, and frigid fog and my back have kept me mostly indoors this last week, so this shot is a leftover from last month. If it looks familiar, I did use it in my Yakima Valley Daily Photo blog.
If you are having trouble figuring it out, here is a side view.

O that is super! I liked that you showed both views as I could not figure out the first one as being playground equipment! Love the snow also. . . Ü
I will have a odd shot before Monday rolls around.
Katney, I love this, what a great idea.
I like this! Neat shot!
Very surprising ! Here it was white and beautiful, then white and dirty then only dirty and now rain !
Loved it!!! I will try it one of these days!!!~~(I will talk to Mr. Linky, maybe he is having a stress kind of problem...)

That was definitely one for me - layer upon layer, with a pronounced depth.
Mine is an neat miss and is here
That is so good!
Would never have guessed what the odd image was - must spend more time in play grounds!
What an unusual camera shot - although the kids using it would see it like that every time.
My odd shot is up
Here I am again, this time with my blogger identity!!
Love, from rainy Lisbon today!!!

Angle is everything. The most normal object can be so weird with a slight slant. Brilliant.
The snow make this a super picture rather than just a good OddShot.
Linky is moving servers hence this problem. My Mono Linky comes and goes but generally works. If you go to my Linky and click on 'new features' it will take you to their blog which gives you a new URL.
Katney, that's beautiful! Clever shot.
Linky is changing servers, and causing no end of trouble. Aileni can access it on Monochrome Maniacs at the moment, but I can't - work that one out if you can!
Hello Katney! That is a fun great shot!
Mine is more what made me laugh this week than truly odd or unique, in the shot itself :)

I would've never figured it out. Good one! Mine just went up over at GDP. Cheers!
I love shooting at the playground. All sorts of interesting angles and shapes. Nice shot.

Wonderful angle .. fun guessing what it was, I was sure it was a supermarket cart rack ... see how wrong I can be LOL
My shot today isnt odd .. sorry, but my laptop is in hospital and the loaner has no photos on it.. so I accessed my Picasa stash but nothing there was truly odd .. next week for sure!
Thank you Aileni and Dragonstar for the Linky info. I was in the middle of a major project when I remembered I must get Odd Shot set up before leaving the house. I will have more time to pursue him next time. Maybe then I can find cooperation.
Playgrounds, it's an idea !
I took a look at my clothes pins ...

Here's My Playground Shot
Simple, yet blatantly odd.
Oh, I love it Katney! You are always good at finding the playground odd shots. I found two once but never posted them. I did Odd Fellows instead.
Good eye to see the possibility of the long-way-through the hand holds. Nice odd shot!
Oh, this was really a good shot. I like the fact you showed it from two different perspectives.
OH BOY! That's a nifty shot!... I couldn't figure it out in the first shot!
