This one was from our visit to Rubel's Castle.
These three were at Mt. Lassen National Park. The first is from Bumpass's Hell Trail.
It seemed like deja vu one evening in July. This is very much what it had looked like that May morning in 1980 when Mt. St. Helens blew. The forest fire beyond Mt. Adams was in the same direction, and from Yakima it looked like it was coming directly from Mt. Adams. Folks were calling police and news to find out if another eruption had taken place

I enjoyed each one but that sky that looks as if it is burning was my favorite.
