Odd Shots is hosted here. To play, comment here to let others know where to find the oddest photographs in the
blogosphere. (If you have multiple blogs please lead us to the odd shot one.) Be sure to go see some of them. Odd Shots details are linked in the sidebar. The
blogroll needs updating again--I will get to it this week.
Okay, I am flaunting the rules here once again with multiple photos in one Odd Shot post.
But what is odd about these shots taken in Arizona and California on our recent trip.
Some were in the city and others out in the desert.
How about a give-away!?!
The first commenter with the accurate explanation of what is odd about some of these photos is the winner.
I will find a great prize representative of the Yakima Valley where I live for the winner.
A yummy prize.

My odd shot is up. I have no idea what is odd unless it is that palm trees are not native to that area. :)
Since I only see palms about once a year, I haven't a clue - it might be odd that I get to see tham at all :-) , but I don't suppose that fits your criteria.
Mine is up here.
Being swedish I dont know that much about palm trees and therefor have no idea what makes the pics odd.. tho I am real curious and cant wait to find out. :)
My odd shot today is the Candy Airline.. ;)
We have palms on the island and to me like these they just look odd in places you wouldn't expect to find them.
What is odd about these palm trees ? Or do I have a deformed view ??
Believe it or not, we have a couple of palm trees on Gabriola. My oddshot is up at GDP. Cheers!
My odd shot, well, image (my pc with my photos is at a clinic, being repaired...) is also on at Atlântico Azul.
Regarding your palm trees, I guess the odd thing about them is that some are made of plastic!!!!
LOOOOLL!!!!
I played today for the first time in a long time ago.
Not sure what's odd about your palm trees either ....
You know where I live, and I'm so sick of palm trees! There I got that off my chest. The odd ones are the cellular towers. Good post, BTW.
Are some fake? They really are incredibly tall - is that odd too?
Great shots though. I have never seen so many palm trees all together!
I reckon if you host the meme you can break as many rules as you want. ;0)
(You can take me off the blogroll for now when you update it Katney - I haven't posted an oddshot in a few weeks now.)
I am not sure so you will have to tell me. My Odd shot is up now.
I live in Florida and see palm trees in all shapes and sizes. The only thing I can think of is that these are really really tall and 2 of them are short.
Here's Mine
I love palms, Katney, they represent in my mind beach, summer, sand... thanks!
Hi Katney, thanks for all the visits and comments. I have been very busy lately and have not done much visiting so have to play catchup.
We also have the disduised cell phone towers here. The first time I saw one that looked like a palm tree I wondered how I had been so unobservant that I had not noticed it before - it was very tall :) We also have one that looks like a lighthouse
I would have not known what to look for -- they all look like some kind of palm to me.
