SkyWatch Friday--is this Deja Vu?


When we were in Juneau, Alaska on a cruise in September, 2009, many of the other passengers decided not to go up on the Mt. Roberts Tramway because of the fog. Not us—and the view was wonderful. Here is one view down the Gastineau Straits from near the top of the tram.

    Hi Katney, you might try checking the url you left for your Skywatch post for people to leave comments. When I clicked on it, it said Page Not Found because there were a couple of spaces between the .com and the /.

    So! Your photo is GORGEOUS! I hope to see such a scene someday. Thanks for posting.

    You made the right choice to take a chance and head up the tram. What fabulous views. Really picturesque. And the clouds only add more flavor to the skies.

    A fine series showing how beautiful and loaded with photo opportunities the area was. It was smart of you to go up the tram in the fog! The images are very interesting and well done.

    Beautiful photos of an extraordinary place. Last July was our second trip to Alaska and I could go again and again. We took the tram the first time we visited, but this past trip opted for more photos from the ship. ;)
