Years ago I had some Kangaroo brand shoes and a couple of the family had hiking boots from Kangaroo. The secret of those long ago shoes was that each pair had a pocket with a zipper that you could put emergency cash in. Well, years ago it was a good idea to have a quarter for a pay phone--no cells then.

It was definitely a different aspect of kangaroo anatomy that inspired these.
I would break an ankle in those things but they sure do look fun.

Oh, Lord! I had those on they would be looking at the sky 98% of the time, they do look like fun! Always wanted to hop around like a kangaroo -- and not an ancient one either!
