Blessing of the Pets


The feast of St. Francis of Assisi is a traditional time for the blessing of pets. So on our parish lawn gathered numerous dogs of all sizes and description, two birds...
...one cat...




...and a turtle.

We will return to Alaska in the next post.

    This is such a nice ceremony for pet owners, blessing all of cute, sweet and well-loved pets.
