Misty Dawn sponsors Camera Critters every Sunday.Stop by here to see the rules and see the list of participants.
This is Brother Lawrence and his pet squirrel. Brother Lawrence found it as an orphaned baby, so he raised it and trained it. During the day when Brother Lawrence was teaching at the nearby school, one of the two young ladies who worked at Boys Village, Pryia, the housemother, or Gunna, the secretary, took care of it.
When Brother Lawrence returned from school in the afternoon, the girls would put the squirrel down in the corner of the courtyard (in the top left corner of the picture) and it would scamper in a straight line directly to Brother Lawrence who would be standing about where I was to take this picture. waiting for it to jump into his arms.
