This was my very different birthday present last year. When we went to the Woodland Park Zoo with the grandkids, my daughter, knowing how much I love giraffes, paid for me to get to feed one.
Yes, a very different and uncommon gift - feed for giraffe! I know where to go when I want to feed a giraffe. The one I saw at another zoo stretched its neck to eat the leaves from a tall tree.
Oh! That is just precious!!!!!! i love unique presents as you well know. . . ahhhhhhhhh memories of Mt. Rainier!!!! I think I would have had to feed a baby giraffe as even tho they are a beautiful creature, they are powerful scary up close!

ReplyDeleteancient one, the giraffes' enclosure has a sort of canyon, and this viewing area is at the edge of a bluff overlooking it.
