Odd Shots on Monday

Now, you may wonder what it is that is odd about this shot. What is odd is, that it was taken today (Sunday) August 31.

Do you see those white specks? Click to enlarge this one a bit to see them better. They are not camera noise because of poor resolution or using the wrong setting. or zooming in too far.

They are SNOWFLAKES!!!!!

(Sorry, Paulie. We did not deliver you any snow in August, but we sure found it today.)

    Lucky you! It rained so hard here today or I might have gone looking for snow that was down to 500 ft -- that means over in orchards, east of where I live in our city!

    I had to dig out a shot I been wanting to use for a month now-- in fact it was taken August 1st! at the fair.

    Beautiful odd shot. It must be cold out there. Surely, odd things are happening all over the world because of global warming.

    Here in Mumbai, the daily weather changes atleast two or three times a day. Like if I keep warm night clothes out for my 3 year old, a couple of hours before his bedtime. I realise later that it's too hot for him to wear them and get out something light and cool for him. Odd, isn't it?

    After the greyist August on record in England, the sun is shining today.
    But, I've seen snow whilst out in Saskatchewan, CA during harvest.

    Snowflakes ??? Fortunately I am sitting on my chair ! That's even worse then the weather we have and had all summer not yet snow but rain and cold !
    It must be the global cooling, lol !

    Oh my gosh Katney, that is scary, but it was cold enough here in Bend that it could of snowed, i figured that we would get some with the way the wind was kicking up it got down to 30 last night.20 in LaPine. I found a shot today so mine is up as well.

    That's great, Katney! I would have been thrilled with some snow, it's still 82(F) and the a/c is running. I'm slow but my Odd Shot is up too.
