Camera Critters is premiering today.
You can find out the details here.
This chipmunk seemed to have had a good harvest as he munched away on a bench near the main trail up to Sourdough Ridge at Sunrise in Mt. Rainier National Park last summer.

Michelle had some great chipmunk pictures with critter information here the other day.
I love squirrels and chipmunks. I think they are so cute. My boss on the other hand, says there is nothing cute about them hehe. This is a great shot of this little guy having a snack.
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for joining Camera-Critters. It really means a lot to me, and I can't wait to see more of your critter photos each week.

ReplyDeleteOh, he's sooo sweet!
ReplyDeleteI encountered his family in Canada.
Good one. :) Those little suckers seem to hear me coming a mile away and run. I rarely get one near as nice as yours.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite critter, nice shot

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw that meme, I thought it meant dogs and cats so I didn't join but I have a cute critter from yesterday's walk that I will post this afternoon when I get home from church.
Awwwwww he/she is adorable...
ReplyDeleteI do wish we had these in the UK...
ReplyDeleteNice critters for sure.
Oh it's soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteI saw a chipmunk when I was in the states, I was surprised how small they are.
ReplyDeletePerfect shot, very cute, Splendid post CC.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I know this is a shot from last summer but are the chipmunks out and about in your area now? It's a bit too early here in Ontario.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of chipmunk around here and the kids love to throw food out for them.
ReplyDeleteOh wow he is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI am completely unfamiliar with chipmunks. (don't even know if they inhabit Florida at all.) But my squirrels and I get along famously. This photo generates an immediate fondness for this lovely creature. Simply magical! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photo of a little critter.
ReplyDeleteEG Tour Guide--Next week I will have a Golden Mantle Squirrel, which is often mistaken for the chipmunk. I used one in my ABC Wednesday when we were on G--you can find it in my archives.
ReplyDeleteWe have the usual kind of squirrels in the valley, but the chipmunks and G M Squirrels are in the forests and meadows of the Cascades. Sunrise---where this picture was taken--will not be accessible till some time in June. We even shoveled snow in early July to make some trails accessible.
We were at Longmire last month--a lower elevation--and saw a few despite the snow. Whether it is natural for them to be out, whether they had come out of hibernation because, like the rest of us, they thought it should be spring, or whther they hang around unnaturally in the developed area there, I can't say without some research.
We've seen them in Utah and Arizona, too.
How on earth do you get the time to do all these? I am learning to photograph again with a new toy and consequently got way behind on the blogging!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot of the little fella. He's cute. You see so much wildlife around your way. It's like a little paradise!
Sorry I'm a little early with my Odd Shots post for tomorrow, but I probably won't have time to post in the morning. I hope you are able to pick the info. up from here. I a first time participant.
ReplyDeletegreat shot! those little critters can disappear real quick, so i know how good this is!

ReplyDeleteChipmunks are so cute!! Great shot! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katney. Chipmunks live all over our yard. We even had one in our basement last year. What a racket it made sometimes! Very chatty.
ReplyDeleteCute! I very clearly remember watching a little chipmunk at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There was so much grandeur but, the little guy had my attention anyway!
