ReplyDeleteHi Katney, nice post.
ReplyDeleteI like the foggy meadow and froggy shots.
When my daughter was about three she had no qualms about catching frogs and would bring these big things into the house. One day I told he the story of the frog prince and she spent a morning kissing frogs - without success :)
All great shots. The misty meadow is mysterious.

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photos,all of them.A great F-post:o)
ReplyDeleteWhat's growing in the foggy meadow and when was the photo taken? I enjoy your nature pictures.
ReplyDeleteDirty Knees, I tracked down the original of the meadow phtot. It was taken in July of 2005 at Sunrise area of Mt. Rainier National Park. (Well, that part you probably knew 'caause that's my obsession.) There are magenta paintbrush, lupine, Sitka valerian, anenome, and I can't tell what the yellow ones are as they are too far distant. Could be arnica, avalanche lily, or mountain dandelion.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful series of fx! I have a frog too but it is painted!

ReplyDelete"Foamflower"! Now I know the name. Hard to look anything up if you don't know it. Maybe we should start a photo-based ID site. There are some around but we could specialize on a particular location (state?)
